koo2cat
Just can't hide my excitement at getting three Cream Legbar chickens this week. Always wanted blue egg layers and they are hybrids too so will hopefully lay a bit through the winter! Have named them Erin, Ola and Aliona after the other big passion in my life! Will try and post pics when they arrive!
Space Chick
Cream Legbars are pure breeds, so do not lay through winter. However, Columbines/skylines/cotswold legbars are cream legbar type hybrids... these should lay through winter and have an 80% chance of laying a blue or a green egg, the remainder lay a pale beige colour. Yey new hens though
squiffs
I have a skyline, and she lays a sometimes it's a spearmint colour, sometimes olivey, all different shades... when you crack them the inside of the shell is a pale blue
