CJB
I have 4 runners first night in new home. Do they go in house independently like chickens or do I have to round them up. Bit concerned as chickens have gone to bed, but ducks are still out! Any help appreciated
Nicola H
ooo not too sure but i seem to remember Lesley saying that they didn't always go to bed on their own and had to be persuaded into the house at night. I hope somebody comes along soon to confirm this or it could be a long night......
Lesley
Our ducks never go in to bed! When they were in the Eglu and run, we used to shoo them into the Eglu but after a while we decided they were safe enough in the run, and left them to sleep where they wanted. They seem to make quiet quacking noises all through the night
Caroline
our duck goes to be don her own now. We had to persuade he rin on the first night but after that she went by herself! She does seem to stay up longer than the chickens mind you - quite happy quacking about on her rill
