memphisto
I've posted below in Chicken Clinic too. I strongly suspect Lottie has developed Mareks disease, (see post in Chicken Clinic) but I was told she had been vaccinated against it. Until this week, she was in with all the others, except the ex batts who are still in quarantine. Now, my concern, I am probably going to have her PTS tomorrow, she cannot stand, can only lie on her side, has drunk this morning but no food touched. My others......I understand Mareks is highly contagious, are my others likely to be subseptible? What measures can I take to help the situation as is for the others, ie coop hygiene etc. Is it likely others will become ill? Just so worried about my girls right now, bad enough contemplating one being PTS let alone the implications on the others. Lottie is isolated and has been for a few days, occupying the downstairs loo. So sad, normally such a sprightly bird
