Unusal?

Hi everyone

Something rather strange happened yesterday and I've got to admit that I was a little bit shocked by it!

Georgie was lying sprawled out on the grass yesterday afternoon when I noticed that a 'currant' was stuck to her bottom (unfortunately she doesn't have a tail so you get a good view of her behind when she's sprawled out!!). I thought this was a little strange as she's normally a very clean little girl, when I noticed that the currant wasn't stuck - she was popping them out whilst she was lying down! All in all she must have popped out about 10 (and yes I did stand there and watch!!).

Normally when she's out in the garden, she'll go to her favourite corner and do her business. I've never seen her pop them out like that whilst lying down. Is she just being lazy?? I was wondering if anyone elses bunny did this?

That must have been puzzling!

Was she at all exhausted or hot?? Our bunny used to behave funny at times in the garden, when getting heat exhaustion... he'd just then lay down and pant and basically not be able to move for quite a while...

I wish I could make the excuse on her behalf that it was a very hot day but unfortunately I can't!! It was quite cool that day.

I know what you mean though about bunnies getting heat exhaustion. It makes me smile when Georgie runs around the garden like a lunatic and then sprawls out on the grass panting like mad - she looks funny as she's got huge ears like a hare and they vibrate like hell!
