patsylabrador
Visited Sutton House which is a Tudor house. It amazes me that it has survived there and it has an interesting history. But, even more interesting, from one of the windows I could see into some backgardens and in one there was an omlet cube and some lovely chickens. It really took me by surprise to see them there with some beehives.
Mum
Gosh! Haven't been in the Hackney area for some years now, but "wow" on the Tudor house! Why so surprised? Do these forums not give an indication or the scale/scope of back garden chook keeping? I'm after a bee hive as my next project ... I've laid the "seeds of thought" with dh and now biding my time But yes, how fab that you a) saw the cube, but b) recognised its significance in the grand scheme of things!
