thenewchick Posted March 8, 2012 Share Posted March 8, 2012 I am not sure how (must have been a fluke) I managed to get a bumper bit on my chicken, but now I want to remove it. My chicken is eating and drinking but seems to be losing weight. I was wondering if anyone had any tips/hints how to get if off quickly? The Mcconnochies Posted March 8, 2012 Share Posted March 8, 2012 we fitted ours by catching the girls (easier said than done), son swaddling them in a towel with just head free and then I used one hand to hold head and other with circlip pliers - I guess i'd take them off the same way? we used this same method and a pair of the pliers that you can get...made the whole thing really easy.
