Space Chick
Its a trendy knitting lesson book Downloaded it on my kindle yesterday and it's fab Giving me loads of useful tips (as a beginner) and there are loads of patterns to keep you motivated Anyone else picking up knitting needles as a beginner or following a long absence (my absence was 30 years ) I'd strongly recommend it
craftyhunnypie
Funny enough i have this book in my bookcase. I've had it a good while. Good luck on you knitting journey Space Chick. Once you get the knitting bug, it is lethal. You'll soon have a wool stash as big as mine. Erm....well maybe not! And now I'm starting to sin my own - even more lethal! So what are you knitting? Space Chick
I am finishing a bag for my sister I did do a panel poncho for my nephew which was just rectangles sewed together, but he really likes it.... But he is only 17 months After the bag I'm going to play with stitches from the book and learn how to add and remove stitches before I commence my next project which will be from the book I already have a shocking amount of wool caught some bargains to pound land and Hobbycraft and stocked up

Space Chick
That buy now with one click just makes these accidental purchases happen all too often Cathy I have to say, I did try to crochet, my MIL was a great and patient teacher but I could not get my tension, so got bored and frustrated very quickly..... Knitting on the other hand I am loving again This may sound crazy, but it also makes me feel closer to my dearly departed Dad.... He was a knitter, and taught me how to knit when I was 6.... I knitted until I was 8, but then took up the recorder and guitar and became music obsessed, so didn't knit again.... Until now, aged
Couperwife
There is nothing wrong with having a little break from knitting I can sort of crochet, but only in very long lines, or very wonky circles Cathy X
Goosey Lucy
Their crochet book is good, i made a fabulous shawl but don't forget they use American terminology!
