tjandcpj
For a few days Mabel my has been standing alone in her run with her feathers fluffed up, i have not noticed her eating much. I have 3 chickens and usually have eggs each day but recently they have been scarce. Could she be broody ? If so, what can i do (Doris) (Mabel) (Nellie)
Ain't Nobody Here
If she's not hogging the nestbox or hunkering down in a quiet corner, I'd be inclined to think she's not feeling well rather than being broody . Have a feel of her abdomen, does it feel hot or squishy? Is her crop normal?
sparkysmum
Yes, agree with ANH, she sounds a bit poorly to me. Have they been wormed recently? If not I would give them all Flubenvet with their food for 7 days but if she should get any worse/ not improve it might be worth a trip to the vets. Hope she improves soon Alli x
