craftyhunnypie
Hi everyone - last night I was doing my usual ebay search for all things chickeny for the house & came across some fertilized eggs to hatch out some Seabrights. It said that the cockerals are not noisy...Is this true? As I want seabrights eventually in my mark2 & if this is the case, we could have a cockeral to keep the girls in check! ~i'd never heard of quiet cockerals before. It really made me giggle! Jools
Seabrights are meant to be fairly quiet - but there really is no such thing as a truly quiet cockeral!! Be a bit careful with the eggs too as they are meant to be difficult to hatch - something about a defective gene I think (but I could have confused them with another breed) . They are however absolutely beautiful!
