charlie-emma Posted June 27, 2012 Share Posted June 27, 2012 Hi there, I've got some new chickens and one of them had just started laying, she carefully covers the egg she has just laid with the paper shreddings from the nesting box. None of my other chickens have ever done this, and I just wondered if anyone else had experienced this behaviour - could it be a sign of her going broody? many thanks.
