They are the most freaked out things every they run form us every time we go into the garden :0( we got them to 1; lay eggs but 2; to look at and they always hide. If i get an older female in there will they follow her lead and be more friendly? I could really do with your help and advice on this matter. miller30 Posted July 16, 2012 Share Posted July 16, 2012 Hi i think the younger they are when you get them the better what are they like at food times try and tempt them with treats like sweetcorn,pasta or lettuce if you get an older duck she will probs be more scatty than the 2 you have my runners were 2 weeks old when i got them they would follow me anywhere they are now 6 years old keep trying to make friends what breed are they? leanne Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
