My marran bantam has been broody for 3months!! I collect the eggs everyday sometimes twice,I put her out and have even shut her out to feed as she so thin.nothing works. She even escaped the other night to a neibourghs garden which has never happend before.I went to clip wings but they its still clipped so cant fly. It sounds to me like she really is terribly broody. Have you tried using a broody cage? I have never had to go that far, but I have heard they are good for even the most persistent broodies.

Take a wire dog cage, raise it off the ground on bricks and leave her in it for a few days with no nesting material, and no opportunity to make a nest, just get a perch in it, so she has somewhere to roost. That and something to eat and drink is all she needs, she might be objectionable, but it is for her own good.

Also, if she is so thin it might be a good idea to feed her on mixed corn as it is very high in energy, and is often recommended to give to broodies who refuse to eat much.
