Hello

So my Lohman chicken is around 1 year old and around 8 months ago got a little unwell but got better. She has always been quite boney and her comb has never developed (she has never laid egg) She also drinks quite alot but eats fine and has runny poos. Also she spends quite alot of time asleep but I dont think she means to fall asleep as when she realises she shakes her head to wake her self up but usually falls asleep soon after. She can't make chicken noises as she only "cheeps" like a chick and she follows the others trying to cuddle up to them for attention and whenever I pick her up she goes to sleep.

Does anyone know whats going on as I have never seen anything like this?

Has she been wormed? Rattly chest? Sneezing?

yes she is wormed every 3 months with flubenvet wormer and she does not have a rattly chest or sneezing.

I would take her to a vet to get her checked over tbh. Something is not right and it has been going on for a while, so probably time for a professional to look at her.

yes i had one (but old ex bat) that cheeped, she had an infection, clearly for some time,before I had her, as when got tested and treated she came on in leaps and bounds

Unfortunately she passed away peacefully in her sleep yesterday afternoon there was nothing anyone could have done for her as she had Lymphoid Leukosis. That morning she hardly had any balance and slept most of the day so it was the best thing for her. Thank you for your help everyone.
