Installing Indoor Cat Tree

We've just got a new rabbit a couple of days ago and we are now wondering if we are doing the right thing regarding water. Half of our household thinks it is OK to give the rabbits tap water, where as the other half thinks tap water holds unnecessary and unknown chemicals and so prefers to boil and cool the water first.

 

Is this being a little overprotective? What do you suggest?

i used to have a rabbit but he died when he was 9!! we just gave him tap water daily and he was fine with it. you can give them hose pipe water if its easier.
