I have noticed that one of my point of lay hens, a Sussex hen, has started to cough occasionally. I kind of sounds like "CUH!". She is being kept with two other point of lay hens that are not coughing.

 

I know it is a very vague description but if anybody has an idea as to what it may be I would be delighted to hear.

Sounds like what my girls do when they have eaten too much too fast - I always assumed it was a kind of crop adjustment cough. Is it after she has eaten?
