Chicken boarders

I and still quite new to chicken keeping, although I do seem to have crammed a lot of experience into a short widow! One thing I have learnt is that you need to celebrate the little things. So tonight I am celebrating the major step that my girls took - they all made it up the ladder and put themselves to bed! We have had two nights of all but Connie making it up and I was beginning to wonder if her top knot stopped her from seeing the ladder or if her curled toes stopped from climbing, but tonight she scaled it like a pro (it has netting and cable ties as suggested). Now if the fireworks at the wedding factory would just shut up!

There is nothing like it..First egg, first leap , first dustbath, first cuddle and first putting them selves to bed .. Magic .
