kaypeveril
I have an eglu classic, with a run plus extension attached. Everything was fine until I introduced my newbie, Penelope, over the summer! Although she has had her wings clipped, she has no problem in hopping on to the run,and from there onto a 6 foot wall. There are 2 problems. The first is that, once she's on top of the wall, she has been known to get into the neighbour's garden, and can't get back home. The second is that, although my old 3 have never previously shown any interst in it, they are now copying her ( at least as far as the top of the run!) - as a result, the run covers have more that a dozen holes caused by their feet, and are now not at all waterproof. There's no point in me replacing them if the new ones are going to tear too. As I live in Glasgow, I think it reasonable to assume that there is going to be a fair amount of rain over the next 6 months!! Has anyone any suggestions to curb this? Plum
I'd move the run away from the wall then they won't have the temptation. The other option is to have a series of objects going up in height for them to perch on as an alternative. If you put some treats up there they'd get to use is as an alternative. Maybe something like this
