GAT Posted September 10, 2012 Share Posted September 10, 2012 Hi I got three new pigs last wednesday I have looked at them today and they have something in there fur, one pig is covered she has little white eggs?/things up her legs and when i looked in her fur she also has brown little things moving in her i thought it could be hay mite she was in a cage with a good few other pigs so it could of spread round. would a pestiside shampoo bath be ok or is it a trip to the vet already? Looney Posted September 10, 2012 Share Posted September 10, 2012 Hi, I was at the pet shop today buying supplies for my new boys and noticed you can get spot-on treatment for guinea pigs for mites etc. (I noticed as I'd used something similar on the chickens and didn't realise you could get it for guinea pigs too).
