Mrs_B Posted September 27, 2012 Share Posted September 27, 2012 I have been recommended by my vets to buy pellets or mash with coccidiostats to combat coccidia, however I can't actually seem to find what I am looking for! I find info on coccidiostats with the Growers food but not Layers. Do you know a Layers feed with coccidiostats? I currently feed Garvo Layers Pellets (previous Layers Mash) and can't find is coccidiostats is in this feed. Egluntyne Posted September 27, 2012 Share Posted September 27, 2012 Generally coccidostats are only added to chick crumbs as they aren't licensed for use on laying hens. ie the necessary testing hasn't been done, and therefore an egg withdrawal period will apply.
