Wanted - Eglu Cube Mk1 Roosting Bars

My DH wants to put solar panels on our new shed roof to power one light inside the shed, one outside light in the garden, and to get approximately 500 watts of power for using electrical tools etc in the shed. Has anyone done anything like this? Any advice would be very welcome. Thankyou, x

We have a little panel that provides power for a light but that is all. I suspect running tools might be a challenge, I'd be interested in knowing if you can make it work as I was assuming we'd have to get armoured cable laid to the shed
