2 Naughty girls early on a Sunday morning

Recommended Posts

Oh my !!! My first Sunday that I get to have a lie in and im woken to Connie and Marilyn making a right old racket (our eectric door has reset it self and let them out at silly o clock!) Typically Im wearing my onesie something I dont want the neighbours seeing in my mad rush to get outside I cant find my dressing gown so I grab my jumper manage to out it on inside out and back to front. I dash out telling them to shut it (yep I really expect that to work) I feed them and we have harmony.......... Return insde no sooner then I've sat down and the two girls are sqwaking again. Clearly they both want to lay and are squabbling over the old guinea pig house (for some reason my girls like to lay in there ) Ive had to lock them back in the house but I can still hear them....

I really hope my neighbours dont complain Ive never had any noise probems before but it seems these two are rather vocal ! Im still waiting to find out if our Gold Laced Wynadotte is a girl or a boy (bet she is a he :( ) I have been purposely keeping them shut in till a bit later so that if she is a he hopefull he wont cock a dooldle do so early.... Its a good job I love my girls

Cool will try and get some pics, mind you the vet couldnt be sure 3 weeks ago and the breeder I got also couldnt be sure he said the following

I cannot be 100% sure. He / she has not developed a comb or wattles like my boy has done who is the same age so this means its a girl. On one of the photos i can possibly see some ornamental feathers coming off the back side of its rear. This is very boy like. So not sure. Give it a couple more weeks and this should clear up the question. Happy to take Him/Her back at any time so just let me know. Either way its a handsome looking bird.

She is rather big and doesnt seem that ladylike however she also gets pushed around by the other 4 perhaps shes just really confused. The breeder said he would have her back but mum said we cant be sure what would happen to her also I went through so much intergrating her I hate to see her go, so against my fathers wishes mum said they would have Judith if shes a he. Mind you my sister rekons I need not worry about any noise issues as my 3 kids make more noise than a cockerel ever would :-) but possibly not at silly o clock
