Woo hoo finally found myself an eglu!!!

Down side is... It comes with 2 laying columbines...

I already have 3 bantams!

 

Can I feasibly keep them together until I rehome the 2 columbines?

 

I know it's not big enough for all of them so keeping isn't an option really.

I think the house would be big enough but a standard eglu run would be too small. So you could keep them but only if the eglu was in a walk in run or something similar. Unfortunately keeping them together would mean you have to go through the introductions process which can be hard and you can't necessarily just put them all together in the eglu as the bantams could be pecked badly. Could you keep the bantams in the coop you already have and the columbines in the eglu till you work something out?

I may be able to. Limited in space though, but I could move the small coop to the garage rear out the front.

 

I have advertised the hens on some local sites to fingers crossed someone wants them quick!

 

Alternatively I could try a rescue.

Now next dilemma

 

Do I buy a full rain cover or a half one

And clear or green!?

Glad you found them a home

With the cover I would probably go with full length over winter to stop them getting too wet. It also stops the run getting mucky so is better for bantams especially if they have feathered feet.
