hopingforchickens
I rehomed Fran my bantam Maran a few weeks ago, she will be roughly around 30 weeks, the first week we got her she laid her first ever 3 eggs, since then we've had nothing. She's really healthy (or at least I think she is), all of my other hens are laying, she's wormed and there's no red mite. Any thoughts? Do I just have to be patient? chicken bark
I think they do that sometimes, start laying then stop and eventually settle into laying more regularly. The weather may be playing a part and she may have started to lay then stopped for Winter.
