quickcluck
Finley my terrier cross hurt his leg last month, after 2 weeks of limping we went to see Mr Vet and had 2 weeks of metacam. After no improvement had many xrays done, thankfully nothing wrong!!! 10days of Rimdyl and very restricted walks, 15mins max, all road walking, although I can't stop him tearing up and down the garden! Went back yesterday with minor improvements and have another 2 weeks of pills, they say soft tissue or ligament which i'm inclined to agree with, and it'll take ages to heal. They offered to send the xrays for a 2nd opinion or do a scan, but I think thats over kill... She said he has the most muscular legs she's come across in a small breed !!!!! Do you agree as suddenly feeling very guilty. In a human soft tissue takes months! He honestly has no pain....... Any thoughts?
Bramble
He doesn't have anything stuck in his paws, does he? I have a friend who spent £1000s on her limpy greyhound on x-rays, diagnositcs etc etc, turned out he simply had a corn on his pad that was jolly painful, once that was removed, he was fine - vet apparently didn't bother to look for the most obvious thing? Poor Finley, hope he's better soon!!!
