Chooks Aloud
Yesterday I found a small, hard but squashed shell and white in colour (lighter than normal in the nest). Why should this have happened and what caused it? Is it okay to give it to the girls for their tea?
xScrunchee
ooo errr- wonder what happened there then? Did you end up giving it to the girls for their tea?
chocchick
They do have blips occasionally. If it is a thinner shell it tends to be white. If the contents are OK and clean you probably could feed it back (cooked so they don't delibrately start eating eggs). I tend to just compost broken eggs.
