LottyJ1
Hiya, My ex-batt that we re-homed in November 2011 stopped laying complete eggs weekend before last and since then has laid two soft shelled eggs. They get grit any oyster shell, tonic in their water etc but I was wondering if it could be due to buying cheap country stores food as that is all they had last time I went? Any ideas? I want to keep her laying as long as possible not because I want eggs but because I have found once they stop laying they only last about another six months. She is a lovely little hen so I want to keep her healthy as long as possible. Any suggestions would be great.
Egghead68
I find nutrobal (nutribal?) supplement works well to prevent softies.
