I've read on here that citricidal is best for chickens which are sneezing so I have ordered some. Funky seems fine but is sneezing rather a lot. The other three aren't sneezing at all. Dumpling and Noodle are fine but Nugget still seems a bit unhappy with herself (but after 2 days spent at the vets there's nothing wrong with her that can be found!) I still think it's the weather that's bringing her down.

 

So...is there anything anyone can recommend other than citricidal? I'm still reeling from the loss of Henrietta and don't want to risk anything with Funky.

Not specifically for sneezing but nutridrops are generally helpful for poorly chickens.

I took her to the vet this morning and she seems to have a lung infection - not bad, only one lung affected, but has had anti-biotics and has to be segregated for a while in case it spreads. She's in a dog carrier in the kitchen having a whale of a time! She has to have anti-biotic 'stuff' in her water for a week to make sure it clears.

 

Will I have problems re-integrating after a week? I was thinking of keeping her apart for a couple of days then putting her back at night then in during the day....would this work? I figure if the others are going to catch it they probably will have done already. But what do I know????

I think chickens usually remember each other for a week or two.
