My eco solution to rat problems

Stupid stupid me, I used a Brillo pad to try and clean the black mottled stuff off the roof (didn't come off with the pressure washer). Now it has dried it looks terrible, like it's really faded.

 

Is there anything I can do to get the finish back? Wax it or something?

Sorry - don't think so, but I think it probably looks worse when it's just washed, it will look a bit better when it's dried out? I had a hen who insisted on roosting on top of the Eglu, and cleaning it was very difficult and I ended up with scratches - I've just got used to it.
