AlisonH
Charlie chicken was on antibiotics for a mystery illness at the start of March. The vet could find nothing obvious wrong but following X-rays and thorough examinations after we thought she hadn't eaten something uneatable she was given Baytril as a precautionary measure and after a week of medicine picked up and has made a full recovery. However, after a month she still hasn't returned to laying. Is this normal?
mimi5
Just spotted this post I had 2 "little" girls poorly with myco a few weeks back and infact Tilly had to have a second week of baytril!! She was a real worry...but came through and has just begun to lay!!!!!!! My other girls also had baytril before for myco and recovered, all going on to lay too. Is your girl laying again yet?? Maybe she jusy needs a bit more time? Or some TLC and "feeding" up a little??
