Chicken deficient Posted April 24, 2013 Share Posted April 24, 2013 Hmmm, the post about Cube ladders and Silkies has got me wondering again about my empty Eglu... If Silkies are that bad at ladders, does that mean they wouldn't make it up onto our raised beds in the garden? They are about 50cm high. I was contemplating having a couple of Pekins in the garden, as the current flock is all on the allotment and I miss having chickens meandering in and out of the kitchen and sitting on my lap in the garden.
