johnandkymberley Posted April 29, 2013 Share Posted April 29, 2013 Hi, our hen daisy has developed some signs of being broody She is plucking herself, when she plucks herself she then uses the feathers and the paper underneath and around her to surround her.shes sitting on some of the fertilised eggs we brought and when my wife puts her hand in her space she pecks at her hand and clucks at her if she goes for the eggs underneath her. How long do eggs stay fertile?? Also, Do any hens have trouble on the base of the classic with regards to gripping to stand and walk?
