Solitary chicken - need advice

Hi Everyone, I look after baby ducks that have been injured, abandoned etc until they can go back into the wild and was wondering what the difference is between the duck eglu and the chicken eglu as I have the chance to buy a chicken eglu and was thinking of just taking out the roosting bars for the duckling as they are so messy and thought it would be a lot easier to clean an eglu x
