Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

I have a broody hen who has done a wonderful job rearing her chicks. They are almost 6 weeks old and we are in the process of introducing growers pellets along with their medicated chick crumb.

Smokey is still happy to be with her chicks but has now come back into lay....my question is how long after she has eaten medicated crumb is it safe to eat her eggs?
