Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

I've just got a lovely new polytunnel. Got tomato plants but they will be staying outdoors & a friend is giving me some polytunnel grown pepper plants. But what seeds would you give a go this time of year in the poly? I've got books, but wondered what you would actually bother with?

I've just had my polytunnel recovered (storm damage from Jan 2012 - a wall fell on it ) but I'm not finding much to sow apart from basil and some biannuals for planting out in the autumn.

I have got my tomatoes, cucumbers and chillis in there as in Scotland it's the only way to get reliable crops - although at lunchtime today it reached 41.7C even with all four doors open .
