Mummy hen Posted August 12, 2013 Share Posted August 12, 2013 Hi, My hen has had yellow runny poo for a few days now, she's quiet just standing in one place with her hen tucked down. She's eating and drinking and when I've let her free range she's had a good wander and a scratch. She doesn't lay hasn't since last Nov even though she's only 2. She's wormed and I can't see any mites. Today I've given her cat food which she loved and I've put some natural yoghurt in, she's fed on layers a handful of corn and meal worms as a treat. Her bottom was very messy so I've bathed it and trimmed the feathers to keep her clean, I couldn't see any fly strike or anything like that. Plum Posted August 12, 2013 Share Posted August 12, 2013 They always do it just before you go away. Could be infection egg broken in her or any one of a number of things.
