Trixie can open the back door or can she ??

Recommended Posts

So whilst I was out with my two sons I get a frantic call from my daughter very distraught as she had found Trixie wandering around the downstairs of the house

" I don't know how she got in the door was shut when I went upstairs and now she is in and has pooed everywhere"

Now I know the back door was firmly shut when we left, as Trixie had been in twice already due to the door only being pushed closed and leaving a gap for her to manipulate, I strongly believe that perhaps Lydia had been outside and not shut the door properly and the call to me was just to cover her back etc or perhaps Trixie has learnt to flap up to the handle and open the door ??

Mind you I suppose she may have gained entry via the cat flap (hope not as that would cause problems) she has demolished the cat food which my cat had been ignoring and trying to plead that she has none so she will have a shock later

I do think I provided some entertainment in that ASDA car park in Weston super mare as whilst Lyds was getting in a state about the amount of pooh in the house I clearly, loudly and very sarcastically stated that I was indeed in WSM and what exactly did she want me to do about the chicken pooh in the house im not that magic after all

I am glad to say when I got home no evidence of Trixie or pooh in the house but a large scattering of cat food by cat bowl :D chickens and kids hey who'd have em

There is now very strong evidence to suggest that it was Lydia not closing the door as I have just found her teddy that was on the washing line in the house unless of course Trixie bought that in, and if she did then why didn't she bring the rest of the washing in ! Having said that I know the day when the cat flap is utilised by my girls is possibly quite near ! having said that its one that opens with a magnet which none of mine should have in their possession
