Eggasperated
After a huge glut of smallish skin damaged bramleys which won't store particularly well I found myself tempted by this . I thought it would make cooking and freezing the apples much easier. It arrived today and I tried it out on an eating apple - my goodness it was efficient . Hope it works as well on the bramleys. Shame it makes them into a spiral shape as I have planned a Tarte tatin for today and I could do with help peeling and coring the apples, but I only want them in halves. Anyone else tried this machine, or any different ideas for using the resulting apple slinkys? .
