Interesting lady with a load of rescued chickens early on. It's on Channel 5+1 at 10.00 this evening (or you can catch it On Demand). I don't normally wtch this sort of thing because I get annoyed with the people who profess to love animals but clearly can't care for them. This wasn't like that. I watched it because the chicken lady was on when I stopped watching something I recorded, I watched her bit, and then got drawn in to watching the other stories. I recorded the +1 version later, so DH could see the chicen woman and chuckle. Unusually, apart from being a bit obsessive, the people shown were all OK. The woman with 40 cats: all her cats were really well cared for and well fed (so it wasn't quite the usual story; the chicken woman made me smile, I could see myself in her a bit; the hedgehog woman turned out to be doing a lot more good than harm.
