So excited about this show on S4C at 9:30 on Thursday (Sky 134 for those of us outside of Wales)

 

It's about Dan, a good friend of mine who has given me a huge amount of help with my KISS site in the past. He is a massive KISS fan and a great guy and really deserves the attention, one of the most generous people I know. It's in Welsh but with English subtitles!

The man the show was about is a very good friend of mine and constantly helps me with my KISS site. Why on earth would you think it's a joke? The article about spending £25k needs taking with a pinch of salt, but remember it's over 34 years and includes his flights all over the world.

 

Here's a pic of him taken from the show tonight meeting Paul Stanley in Japan. The TV crew followed him there to film him meeting his heroes.

That was really enjoyable. I'm glad you posted about it, because I wouldn't have known about it (or watched it) otherwise.

 

I loved the bit where he was buying three versions o fthe new album in the shop. I guess people who have never been fans of anything would mock it, but I recognised a bit of myself in that. I've not been that way about a pop group, but I have been that way about a short lived and cancelled US TV show. Even now sitting in my DVD collection I have the copu that I watch, the unopened special edition, the opened US version (because there was no Region 2 version available at the time), a Chinese illegal version (Ibecause there was no US version available at the time, and I was in China and saw it)....

 

 

Has he slowed down now?

WitchHazel, did you manage to get subtitles on the catchup or do you speak Welsh? I managed to get subtitles on Sky last night but not on the S4C app (which I used for screenshots).

 

I did speak to him when he got back and he didn't mention the part about slowing it down a little - I don't belive him on that one!

I wateched on my laptop, and I got English subtitles. There was a button with an "S" in along the bottom of the plater screen, that enabled me to switch subtitles on or off.
