Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

We brought 2 new hens today and they are a daisy belle and a amber star.I had 3 hens already we have put them in the run that my partner made which is at the end of the eglu run.How do we make them settle in together safely with out blood shed.Want them all to be happy together please some advice would be great.

Is there anyway that you can maybe but a bit of wire between the two runs, so that they can see each other but not touch if you know what i mean, so that way they can get used to seeing each other, before you let them in together.?,

They can see and touch each other because my other half made another run a while ago.This was to make the run bigger for the orginal 3 so we have just kept the eglu run door shut to separate them.Some people turned up as we was leaving was that u. We left with another couple that had turned up as well at the same time.I think the lady said about the legbar chickens which made me think it could have been u.Any way l would go back to ben he was brilliant cant belive how many he had.We brought a daisy belle and a amber star but would like to know more about the breed.

Did u have blond hair?, vagely remember ... that was actually the first time i had seen all his garden, isnt it huge, ..cor how many chickens could i fit in there

 

I fell in love with the White Star, that he had, just pure white, it was beautiful, so may have to add one to my collection....

 

But he is good, nothing is too much trouble for him, and will willingly answer any questions that you may have xx

Yes that was me it was just me my partner and my 5 year old and baby in carry tot.When l saw the other couple turn up as we did l asked her if she was from the omlet site but she did not know what l was talking about.I loved his garden l thought the same how many l could get in there.We had to put ours to bed last night as they have a rabbit hutch for a few nights until they settle with the others then they will have eglu to.I think im going to need a cube as well the only problem is l wish omlet had put door handle on top like with the eglu as my fence would be in the way.My chooks woke me up at 5.30 this morning telling each other of as old ones want the run back.How are yours doing today.We called them daisy and honeybee.

I still ahvent named mine yet, really cant decide on names for them, glad to hear they have settled in ok, mine look like they had a good nite, so fingers crossed.
