HarrisonFamily
I am quite new to knitting and trying to make a toy for my daughter all was going well until I got to this K1, Inc, K to last 2sts turn Sl1 p to last 2sts turn So I have the knit 1 and increase 1 and then knit to the last 2 stitches....but does turn mean just turn the needles around so I would have 2 stitches already done and then just slip the first stitch.... Any help would ne appreciated as I have no idea how to correct mistakes and would hate to start again... Thank you
Olly
Yes, turn the work around so the first two stitches on the needle are the ones already done. These are 'short rows'. It's similar to what you do when shaping the heel on a sock, and as this is a toy I'm guessing it has a curve or 'bulge' of some sort.
