Solitary chicken - need advice

I currently have 2 bantams in and for rabbits. Should I invest £71.64 in buying the conversion kit or would I be wasting my money Advice please. I have a birthday coming up and YS asked me what I would like.

Hi Chicken Shack,

 

I have both a rabbit eglu and chicken eglu.

Providing that the hens have roosting bars to perch on at night and somewhere to lay their eggs comfortably this isn't necessary.

Saying that however I too will at some point be looking to get my rabbit hutch converted! For me I would rather have everything the hens need inside the eglu. Otherwise I would have to put a separate box somewhere for them to lay and create some roosting bars for the inside (DIY and imagination I seriously lack in!!)

Also I am a neat freak - it has to look good and be easy to clean!

 

Tis a tad on the expensive side though isn't it!

Maybe look at Ebay and get the conversion kit second hand??
