sjp Posted April 17, 2015 Share Posted April 17, 2015 if it's dead i.e. no greenery on it then it could pass as run bedding but if it's still living then I'd not use it as it goes musty and mouldy very quickly this time of year it also get quite hot if it's in a pile as do any chipped trees that have green leaves on them perfect for the compost heap but probably not for chickens I've moved conifer chipping a week old that have still been 'steaming hot' Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
