For those of you who don't know, I work in a school and this year I am lucky enough to be in the year group that gets to hatch chicks.

Yesterday one of the incubators took a tumble and it now has only two eggs, they were only 3 days into incubation but it was still pretty unpleasant. I put them in our second incubator while I quickly cleaned out the first and popped them back in when it had come back up to temp. Do you think they'll be okay?

I'm keeping everything crossed that the eggs in the second incubator hatch. Poor chicks!:pray::pray:

Hi oh dear not good the eggs are very delicate in the first 7 days depends if they got a real shake personally i would chuck them out as to be left with 2 eggs is not good if both hatch great if not and only one does you will have a lonely chick on your hands thank god they were not further along now that would have been a sad lesson for the kids leanne :)
