Justadmin
Hi all, Sorry, another newbie question. So I have a coop and run which has been made by converting my old shed. Very pleased with it overall. I have a question about ventilation though. How do I know if I have enough? Currently I have cut out a small section of the side of the coop near the roof and covered it with mesh (I got this idea from several websites). Because my run is, fingers crossed, predator proof I will also be leaving the pop hole door open at night. Do you think the door and the cut out section will be okay? I could always add more later by bashing in a few more holes. How can I tell if there's not enough once I get the chickens? Will they show signs of distress? Can already feel the stresses of chicken parenthood lol. Thanks!
mullethunter
I wild say that's probably plenty with the pop hole open.
