Chickabee
At 28 weeks Vicky the Brahma has decided to go broody. It's hilarious she's even more enormous when she's spreading herself out. She's only in a Go! Normally she free ranges all day. Pinching the eggs from under her is a challenge. Luckily she's only in with 3 lilttlies and only one lays in the coop. Are Brahmas prone to broodieness? I didn't think they were. Don't really mind, but will have to watch out for those nasty red mite. Think I'll treat her today. At least I won't have to chase her like Benny Hill
Lydia
Our brahma has been broody twice this year so far. It's the first time we've had a broody but followed the advice on here about 3 days and nights in a raised dog crate to break the broodiness and it worked like a dream.
