chickencam
We got tickets so I went down with DS had a great day, was court side for the Tsonga v Isner match which looked like it might never end, great atmosphere. Exhausted now left home at 5:40am got back at 11:30pm then couldn't sleep then up again at 7 with morning, well worth it though, the sun even shone on us for most of the day
Groovychook
Sounds fantastic! I'm so envious... I've never been to Wimbledon but would love to some day Not surprised you're so tired but as you say, well worth it!
bluekarin
That game was amazing! Must have been incredible to be there. I only watched it at home, on my sofa
chickencam
It was amazing and I had a seat one row back in line with the net opposite the umpire, I thought I was dreaming and would wake up. I realised it was on at 5-2 in the fourth set and we went queue to get in was told it was packed in the first section we tried and were sent to the next gate and DS told me to go in without him because I stood a better chance of getting in wanting a single swat and he went to watch Konta in the ladies doubles. We thought I would be about 40 minutes and two and a half hours later we met up again. He got to watch Heather Watson and Naomi Broady win in the doubles and loved that too and the end of the Konta match, so we were both happy except that I had his water, sun cream, hat and sun glasses I have wanted to go to Wimbledon since I was about 10 when I first started watching it on TV, only took me 39 years I was going to apply in the ballot for my 50th next year and still might, but yesterday seemed to good an opportunity to miss. Was a really good day out with DS too, we get on really well, he is 20 and away at uni most of the year so it was great to spend some time together doing something we both love.
