chooksRCute
Have been buying mealworms for the chooks this past year & have always thought....eek expensive at an average of £12 per 500g from in stores. Just ordered 3kg at £8 per kg, off that well known auction site. Arrived today & they're as good as any other & actually weighed in at 3.2kg - free postage too. Now I feel like I got a bargain but was interested to know if anyone does much better?? Victoria
Grandmashazzie
Gosh that's good off to order. I have been buying 100 g bags in Poundland and thought that was a bargain.
BridieLou
Not bad! Robert Dyas are currently doing 1kg for £9.99 (same price as the poundland) and I recently bought 2kg from amazon (Maltby Stores was the seller) at £14.99 & free P&P, which I thought was a steal. I give the chooks and birds quite a lot and there's still tonnes left.
