Poorly chicken

Hi. Hybrid LS. Her back end/ back half of body is moving up and down. 2 months now. Washed her vent as was mates and dirty. Very well in herself, no discharge from eyes or nose, no sneezing, comb red and tail up. Honestly no other symptoms. 

Not sure if she is laying but will try food colouring and Vaseline.

How old is the hen?

do you mean that just her tail is moving up and down, or that she is crouching using her legs?

If you mean that her rear is moving in time with her breathing, sort of pulsing then some do it more than others I've noticed.  My Bluebelle has always shown prominent movement like this but the others I have to look at closely to see a similar thing.
