Kate Macdonald
Hi all, Can anyone confirm if the noise of rabbit thumping is lessened in an eglu compared with a wooden hutch? We currently have a two storey wooden hutch with a raised floor and it makes such a racket when one of them is thumping at night. They were much calmer in winter when we could cover the whole hutch so I'm also wondering if they'd be more comfortable moved into the shed by night. If we got an eglu does the run come off easily so we can move it indoors when needed? Thanks in advance for the advice, Kate
The Dogmother
They usually thump when they are alarmed, so perhaps a predator was hanging around the hutch. It will be quieter in the Rablu, but not a lot.
